White Lake is a very safe place to live and I can tell you from experience.  I have lived in White Lake Township for 11 years now.  It is a very safe place.  I know some people that do not even lock their doors.  The White Lake police department and White Lake fire department have great officers and fire people.  They are consistently working hard to protect the people that live and visit White Lake Township.  The response time when you need help from them is very good.

I was actually surprised by the ranking of safety for the township.  I thought it would have a higher ranking but you cannot dispute some of the statistics.  I have lived on two different lakes since I have lived here.  They were alway safe and quiet.  I have not heard of much crime around.

White Lake Township does not have gangs, nor does it have driveby shootings, or car jackings.  You can walk the streets day or night and it would be rare that something happened to you.  Then I would thinki it would be more of a lady walking at night that would be more at risk.  During the day I doubt anything would happen.  It is that safe of a community.  White Lake Township is a safe community for you and your family to live, shop, and play. 

If you buy a home in White Lake I doubt you will have any issue with crime.  When you park your car on the street it is highly unlikely that it would get stolen.  It is the same way with leaving your home.  It is unlikely that your home would be broken into and burgarlized.  You, your kids, or your partner can walk the streets, go to the park, or to the local stores and have no fears of getting mugged or robbed.  White Lake Michigan is a very safe place to live.
