Brighton Relocation

BrightonYou will probably relocate to Brighton Michigan for one of two reasons.  One is that  you want a more of a semi rural community that gives you some space around your home yet have all the shopping and restaurants nearby.  The other reason you would chose a Brighton relocation is that it is a halfway point between some Michigan cities.  You may have a job transfer that landed you a job in Lansing, or Brighton, Flint, or the Detroit Suburbs.  Brighton Michigan conveniently sits in the middle of all these business centers.  So if your partner works in one community and you work in the opposite direction Brighton may be a community you may want to look at.  If you would like a Brighton relocation guide email me at yesmyrealtor@gmail.com

One of my Michigan relocation tips to put down on paper your priorities.  What is most important to you and your family?   Drive time, safety, closeness to churches, shopping, or schools? Brighton Area Schools are some of the best in Livingston County.  The school system and teachers try to engage every student in a quality learning experience, empowering each student to become a thoughtful, life-long learner in an environment of mutual trust and respect.

Ore Creek In Brighton MI

Another great plus about a Brighton Michigan relocation is that the property taxes in Brighton Township are one of the lowest in Livingston County.  Brighton still retains it's small town charm even though it has grown.Brighton offers many cultural, recreational and social activities. Several state (Pinckney State Recreation area) and county parks (Kensington) are located within a few minutes' driving distance, as are more than 50 beautiful lakes, natural wetlands and golf courses. The state's Brighton Recreation Area alone comprises nearly 5,000 acres of woods, meadows and lakes.

Shopping in BrightonThe cities main drag is Grand River where all the shopping is.  There is a small downtown area is a few blocks in size where many of the great local restaurants are at.  The Brighton’s Smokin’ Jazz & Barbecue Blues Festival is held in the downtown area.  Like so many southeastern Michigan cities they have a farmers market each week during the summer.  South Ore Creek runs through the downtown and they have a nice promenade to stroll along the creek where it has widened out to a pond.
