That's pretty much everywhere though, not to single out Wixom alone. The majority of cities in Metro Detroit are like that. Crime is usually random crimes of opportunity. The city has an industrial backing and progress is being made to put all the land Ford left behind to good use with stores, Also the downtown has recently been renovated and lots of new condos popping up between Wixom Rd and the power lines.
